DAY 01 : HANOI – SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE – SIN CHAI (-B / L / D)

Our bus and tour guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, then depart to Sapa, following Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway.

0600 – 06h30

Arrive at Sapa. Have breakfast at the hotel

We start walking to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and locate near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station; stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk up hill.

The tour guide continues to take the group to visit Sin Chai village located on the slopes of Fansipan mountain.

Coming back to Sapa Town. Having lunch at hotel.

Having dinner at hotel and stay overnight in Sapa.

DAY 02: SAPA – LAO CHAI – TA VAN VILLAGE (B/L/D)

Have breakfast at the restaurant.

Start trekking about 6 km to the Southeast of Sapa along the slopes of Muong Hoa valley to Y Linh Ho village of Black H’mong. After that, we will continue walking about 3 km to Lao Chai village of the H’mong people. Tourists need to walk through a small tunnel/over a small bridge leading to Muong Hoa valley to get inside the village.

Free to visit and shop at Sapa market.

Getting on the bus back to Hanoi.

Arrive in Hanoi. End of tour.

Things to bring

  • Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March
  • Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March.
  • Trekking shoes, sunglasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary. You should take cash with you in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa.
