MEKONG 2DAY 1NIGHT TOUR

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Ben Tre – Can Tho (/L/)

08.00 Depart to Ben Tre Province. Arrive and embark our boat cruise along Tien river to orchard garden on the island. The boat will cruise along the Mekong River and stop off at various local workplaces to give you a picture of how the local economy works, including a brickworks, where bricks are still painstakingly made by hand; a coconut processing workshop, where you can sample fresh coconut and see how every single part of this versatile nut is turned into food and other products; and a mat weaving house, where straw mats are woven using a hand loom - you can even have a go at weaving yourself!
The boat will then stop at a quiet village where you can have a short walk to experience real Delta village life, before boarding your xeloi (a kind of motorized rickshaw) and travelling into the forest where you can visit fruit orchards before stopping at a riverside restaurant for cooking class and enjoy a delicious and filling lunch (personal payment), featuring such local specialties as elephant-ear fish and river shrimp, washed down with some cold drinks or beers. It's time to board a sampan for a relaxing trip along narrow cannals.  Take boat back to pier. Then drive to Can Tho to stay overnight.

Day 2: Can Tho –Ho Chi Minh(B/L/)

Breakfast at the hotel.

7:00 Explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong by boat in the morning. Then, continue to Cai Rang floating market, one of thelargest, liveliest in the region and experience the sight of lots of small boats from the local villages selling tropical fruits and vegetables. Then you will visit a village known for producing rice noodles, and see the rice husking mill to watch how the rice is cultivated for consumption.
Continue by boat around the picturesque countryside of Can Tho to visit a fruits garden where you will see and find out many different types of fruit tree, passing Monkey Bridge, built out of a single bamboo tree, have some fruits from the garden then the Boat will cruise along the river take you back to boat station Then we drive 180 kmback to Ho Chi Minh city. Have lunch on the way back. You will reach Ho Chi Minh city around 4:00pm
